Card Pullers:
When excessive insertion and extraction forces are not found in the installation, or a mounting channel is not available and there is space on the printed circuit board edge, a simple Card Puller is sometimes the answer. It mounts on the front edge of the printed circuit board by means of a bolt, screw or rivet and allows for a firm grip for installation or removal of the board from the connector. We quoted one company who claimed,

"The only reason I want the puller is to give my assembly people something to put their pliers on".
